A few mornings ago at New Quarter in Williamsburg, Va for the first time, I saw posted on the first tee a sign warning of Cotton Mouths and Copperhead snakes with photos. Somebody must of been bitten? Didn't see snakes, but saw deer and for the very first time Wild Turkeys (not the beverage).

Looks like what we used to call a blister bug. Purportedly it will chemically put a blister on your skin but I never put it to the test.
