CA Central Coast Camping
Thinking has taking a overnight trip to the CA Central coast this weekend with my Fiance and dog. It looks like Waller is the best course around so I would most likely play that Sunday. I wanted to play Whale Rock at Castro Cellars but it looks like they are closed this weekend. What other course would you suggest playing and the best camping option near by.

Lake casitas is a little south and has camping. Sea pines is a ball golf with disc golf baskets and there's camping at Montana de Oro. These are good options, Waller pines is a sweet 27

Beattie Park in Lompoc is a decent round. First 9 are a walk in the park, second 9 have some challenge, its ~30 minutes from Waller. I'm thinking of trying Heilmann Park in Atascadero as well, it is less than an hour from Waller.

Play them all!!!
Waller Park is the best course in the area, but not the only one. I would absolutely recommend Beatie Park in Lompoc. Awesomely beautiful course with lots of elevation in play and a nice view.  Beattie Park I enjoyed Sea Pines at the golf resort. Very beautiful views of Morro Bay there as well.  Here are two more 18 hole courses in the area if you haven't played them yet: Heilmann Park in Atascadero Laguna Lake in SLO

They also have camping at the Santa Margarita KOA. However, the disc golf course on site is not worth making a special trip.

Looks like we are going to stay at Montana de Oro State Park and play Heilmann on our way in on Saturday. I am still working on trying to go down to Santa Maria on Sunday. My fiance would prefer to play a course that is not out of our way on Sunday, since we are going to be headed North to get home.
