Could this be the PDGA simply positioning itself to be in compliance with the criteria for Olympic consideration. I would love to know if this is similar to other sports.

The top pros need to be careful if they are taking supplements purchased from a store like GNC. A lot of those supplements are tainted with PEDs. I do think this is the PDGA trying to be in compliance for Olympic consideration.

This sucks. Now we won’t be seeing anymore 500 ft drives because the pdga wants to put an end to all the players that are “roid raging”. Everyone loves the long drive. More steroids equals more YouTube views.

Of course the smart move is to crack down on the use of crotch-mounted 24/7 testosterone pumps. I have lost count of the number of times I've been outdriven by someone who is my height and my approximate level of fitness, yet who has clearly been juicing non-stop since the onset of puberty. It's just plain unfair!
I wonder where the PDGA is going to get money for all the portable backscatter body scanners, though. . .
