Do you think he would still be able to work on putting?

I still rode my BMX with the boot on, but I was young and dumb.

Alot going on with Paul, why not have his own thread.

No surgery for Paul, which is a good thing!

Paul used to come on here and comment from time to time. I'm sure he's just beyond it now. Even used his name, PaulBMcBeth as the handle iirc.

Likely did have it checked out pretty quickly. Bone bruises are pretty rare. He would have had an xray to rule out a fracture. Once negative, the conclusion would have been a soft tissue injury, until symptoms persisted. Then a doc (and the insurance company) would have green lighted a MRI to look for ligament/tendon/bone bruise validation.

I feel sorry for his practice basket and the 50 Lunas he's going to beat up while stuck in the boot.

He was logged on the other night. He must be a night owl because he's usually on after midnight.

I'd bet he at least checks what folks here are saying about his signature discs.

Almost all top professional athletes are notoriously overtrained, talk to any athletic trainer and they will tell you half the battle is getting their athletes to back off and rest.

Probably sound advice, Paul has the skills, I'd wager him taking time off and resting is the best thing for his game.
