Default Pro-D XL

Got a Pro-D XL via Discaroo today. Are they any good? It only cost me 3 Discaroo dollars.

Depends on the plastic. I have a waxy one that I can't stand, because it's too hard to hold on to. If it's the grippy Pro-D, then you'll probably love it.

Never tried the Pro-D but I use an X and a Z for anhyzer and turnover shots. Great disc for that job. The Pro-D might be a little too flippy for your taste if you have a lot of arm, though. I found that the 1.5 stability rating on the Z (only one less than a surge) was not very accurate of its flight pattern. If thrown at full power for me (350 feet-ish) and on a hyzer, the z will flip to flat and slowly fade right. If I give it enough height, it will come back some, still. The X will flip flat and generally won't come back under any circumstances.

I don't know about the Pro-D, but I like the Z much better than the X. Z is my go-to overstable driver, especially for hard turns. The X was too unpredictable for me.

Very good tits. No fakes but naturally big yet perky.
