so you're doubling down on a few foot faults = bad character?

Some of these guys are so salty and uptight... They are consumed by it! lol

It's so embarrassing

You got it - for me it comes down to sport integrity and how our pros handle themselves. His reaction following the foot faults on course, posting a video joking on the matter (which was also full admission or recognition of the infractions…) and his demeanor previous season following OB calls is why I think poorly of his character.

And my last comment was more so geared towards the guys on Facebook, not you specifically.

No - what's embarrassing is one of our top pro's continually breaking a rule and not calling himself when it's blatant or other pro's not calling (or seconding it) when it's not as blatant.

Equally embarrassing is the amount of people who want to brush it under the rug as a non-issue. And if being uptight is holding the professionals in our sport to high-level expectations, so be it.

DanJon hit the nail on the head in his previous post.

SD is always welcome to the league I run. When money is on the line I like to be surrounded by people who play with a certain level of integrity.

I just don't like Ricky.
I don't like his general demeanor or personality. He lacks what to me is an element of grace and respectability.
He may be the greatest guy in the world off the course, and I acknowledge his skill, but I don't care for him on the course.
And every time something like this comes up, I like him even less.

In general, I haven't been fussed about the Ricky foot fault thing. His general demeanor isn't pleasant during the round, but then, neither is mine at times. All of that said, the case being made that he should step it up is pretty compelling. While I thought the video about the foot fault was funny, in concept (ive not watched it), I'm starting to agree, a better approach is to fix the problem.

To my recollection, I've seen several players self report violations, seems like a good standard.

It means the yellow dots are all in exactly the same place. If they look like they're different, round to round , you're drinking too much... or not enough.
