My rating is up again. I’m at 982. I’m pretty sure I’m the highest rated lefty in Virginia. It’s pretty impressive what being healthy has done for my game.

Id like to shout out my Apple Valley homeboys here. We have 5 of the top 20 rated golfers in Virginia. This is my tournament competition and also my casual round competition. Im seriously impressed with the level of talent. Weve also got a lot of up and coming young players. I look forward to the future of disc golf in the area.

Weekend wrap up:

I finished a disappointing 2 shots out of last cash. First round I shot 48, rated 987 from the short tees. I missed birdie putts on my first three holes and biffed my par putt on the last hole of the round.

Second round I lost nearly all my strokes in the first 5 holes. I went: 3, 5, 4, 5, 4. I pulled it together so the round wasn’t a complete disaster. Finished at 61, rated 954.

I still had a great time playing. My second round group might have been the most fun card I’ve played with.

I have 4 rounds next weekend at Two Days in May. It’s gonna be a fun weekend.

Looking at the scores Sam was cooking this weekend.

How do the tee times work out for 2 Days in May? I'll be around to spectate probably both days.

Shotgun start is correct. Hopefully there is sufficient parking for the McBeth effect. (very anxious to see what this actually amounts to)

Luke- you can take solace in beating me by one.

I asked about parking last Thursday and they essentially said "we're hoping to fit everyone into the normal parking area" which was not super confidence building, but they said everyone who is camping can probably park near their campsite, which will free up spots in the lot

Thats about as much consolation as playing for the Buffalo Bills of the WVTI.

Bottom line is they simply don't know what to expect.
