On clear, I can't get fuschia to come out as bright as I want. Orange ends up brighter, and yellow in second place. Doing just a bottom dye leaving the rim clear/white would be great. If you added some sort of stencil/pattern on the flight plate, it'll increase contrast and make it that much easier to see. I say just throw it around a bit - you might be surprised how easy it is to find as is.

So does RIT dye work on plastic again? I thought it wouldn't take anymore because they changed the formula.

Rit dye is hard to find, but Idye poly is around, red orange purple blue yellow are the color options there.

I also second a bottom dye leave that rim clear it will look sweet.

I have a clear Opto Trident, and I had this worry with it. But to be honest, I seem to find it more easily than any other driver I own. I can't really explain it, I just know it's the truth.

The only time I have a problem finding clear plastic is when it's in the river or stream. Have to get lucky and catch a glint of a reflection off of it.

I have a clear leopard that ive been throwing for the last 3 months. It can be difficult to find sometimes. a couple times i thought i lost it. Ive been meaning to dye it but havent gotten around to doing it yet. Get some rit dye for sure. You can get it at hobby shops. I think even wal-mart has it but its used for dying clothes.

Thinking I'm going to do a bottom dye on this one, mask the rim and dye it (probably) red. We'll see how it turns out ....

Thanks for the feedback!
