You could say the same for Star Valks... I've thrown absolute meathook Valks, laserbeams, and flippy as hell....
In the end, they're both meant to be pretty much dead straight.

Escape, Hatchet, Fury are probably the three best bets in my opinion, if you are willing to take the time, Goldline culverins beat in to a very nice valkyrie-esque flight, but you probably are better off going with the other three options.

I'm seeing a lot of Escape and Saint recs. Just want to make sure the OP realizes those are great replacements for a fresh DX Valk, or even a slightly worked in Star Valk, but not for a beat in DX Valk. So if you're wanting an off-the-shelf replacement for a well loved DX Valk then you really should be looking more at a Fury or Hatchet.

It is only a 7 speed but I personally love the flight of a River.

Another honorable mention would be the Westside Underworld. Similar to the Hatchet, except its speed 7. I recommend it in the Opto plastic
