Default Westside working on a "smart disc."

Anyone else hear about this or have any additional details? What do you guys think about the idea? Personally I really like the concept of getting reliable data about your disc in flight. I've actually been looking around at sports based accelerometers to dial in my throws but have basically gave up on it because nothing seems appropriate for disc golf.
