Default Anything special about 12x KC Star Wraiths?

I used to bag Wraiths so they always catch my eye. Saw someone selling a 12x KC Star Wraith for $30 new and I thought that was strange. Why isnt it being sold at least at retail?

I only ask because if they are special I'm going to go clear out my local outdoor store. He has 3 on the shelf for $18 a piece max weight.

They’re great discs, definitely more OS than a standard star wraith. Kind of like a missing link between the wraith and the destroyer. That said, I wouldn’t pay $30 for one EVER, and they can be found quite easily and in good volume with a quick google right now. Don’t pay that guy’s premium, he’s fishing for a stamp queen.

It's possible it's an older PFN Wraith

Stock Star Wraiths are KC 12x and have been for many years. That person's, like Streets mentioned, could be PFN (no flight numbers) which could bring the value up a bit. Other than that, it's a stock disc.

Really? Dang, I throw a lot of wraiths and they seem pretty consistently more OS than my other star wraiths. Perhaps it’s just the run I’ve gotten, as I tend to try to stick to like colors and foils.

It's also possible that it was a pretty Wraith? Sometimes people will ask extra or pay extra for really good looking stock discs.

It's also possible that no one will buy it at $30.

If it was a PFN Climo 12x then those go for more than stock price. People will pay extra for the old plastic. I bag PFN wraiths, but prefer the pre-Ken PFN wraiths. They have more glide.

Aren't the current star Wraiths still KC12Xs? I have a bunch of them. I feel like they're somewhat hit or miss on quality. You get some flat ones and some domey ones. Some are also annoyingly soft/gummy.

Honestly, I liked the pre KC Wraiths better. The ones with no one's name on them. They tended to be stiffer plastic and domier.
