I definitely noticed the glide as well. I don't have to work as hard to get the same distance I was getting with Teebirds.

They are clearly 12x champion Eagles in the older opaque plastic ran a few years back. Marked eagle, side by side with my same 12x identical.

Finally got to test out a proto recon veteran, really digging this disc. Has some pretty surprising distance. I've read a lot of eagle comparisons, but I've never thrown one. Flies a lot like my pinnacle rival but with slightly more fade. Surprised it's not more popular, definitely an underrated disc

As a longtime Eagle thrower I was interested in the Eagle comparisons and looked through a bunch of these at Infinite today. The Recon's (champ) were pearly and very similar to the nice stable EG marked Eagles that are rare but available (if you look hard enough). They are mostly low 170's where the similar Eagles are all max weight.

Hyzerbomb has them listed as a plus molded Eagle and it is hard to tell by looking but that is what they are. I stuck a pen along the inner rim and the Veterans are all plus molded. Looking at them from the top you almost can't tell.

Frontline's (Star) were all pretty high PLH compared to the Star Eagles I throw, and had lower domes than the Recons.

If you don't mind the slightly plus rim it might be easier to go with one of these than dig through a stack of Eagles to find the nice one in the bunch, they all looked nice and consistent. I am curious if the plus affects flight but I didn't buy one to find out.

Now we just need Hyzerbomb to mold them up in pro.

They fly great, but the plus mold really messed with my sidearm throws so I went to Eagles.
