Wysocki could mess with people by throwing a McBeth Destroyers or two, but always on short dumpy 300 ft holes, as though suggesting that they are serviceable midranges. And, then break out his own signature Destroyer for the long bombs.

Ricky should put that Raptor stamp on all of his discs.

I would really ask to get one I liked, but I’m going to throw what I need to in order to win. People won’t buy my sig disc if I’m finishing poorly all the time.

But if you are a pro and gets a popular sign. Disc. . And then you start to realize that the disc isn’t working for you...what to do?

I feel like Nate Sexton is the ideal example of picking the right disc in terms of throwing/selling.

Yeah I hear ya. It is a little odd if they made a sig disc and don't use it. I think there has to be a bit of pressure to use it. The Krait really was a good disc. I wish they made it in regular STAR plastic . If they did a re-release of the Krait in swirly star with a flashy new stamp it would guarantee sell well. but alas. RIP Krait.

If I had a sig disc then started liking something else I'd push for THAT to be my sig disc the next season.

This was a really huge issue in golf ball golf. Pros that endorsed other golf ball brands still love the Titleist ProV1 and ProV1X (and with darn good reason: they're the best golf balls out there ), so they'll have boxes with logo of their endorsed brand, but inside are the ProV1/ProV1x golf balls.

As to Disc Golf, it'd probably be a good idea for any pro to carry his/her signature disc and to mention them in any ITB videos, but if they rarely or never actually throw it, who is really going to know? It'd take some serious video research to go back and say "Hey! No mention of Paige Pierce not throwing her signature Convict in that tournament!" And for the most part, no one is really going to care.
