My 166-167 Relay is much more stable than my 170 Ti Sting. Not a little more stable, a lot more stable.
Maybe the Circuit Relays are more stable? This is the second I have owned and both are neutral flyers.

150 class Neutron Craves will fly a frozen rope, even at high power. 150 Plasmas have more turn and more fade, more like a Roc.

I would agree with the River and Mantis choices. I've found the Mantis to be a great replacement for the River in an all-Discraft bag. Both have the gentle turn an great glide you expect from the Comet.

I've always thought of the Dart as an Aviar-sized Aero...

Agree that a River is the closest option out of the box, but in my experience it will beat in to be unusably flippy much faster than a Comet will. I am using a seasoned Z Stalker or Icon Patriot for this slot. Brand new they are both more like Buzzz stability but will quickly wear in to Comet territory. You can probably say the same about the FD, JLS, and Leopard3.

No idea what rivers you guys are throwing, but the rivers I've thrown in the past (GL, opto, moonshine) are more in the category of a slightly flippy leopard and not really a straight flyer unless it's a deep hyzer flip. They definitely aren't somewhat neutral like a Comet

I go with Aero over Dart as the baby Comet, but then again, peg an Aero right and it goes almost as far as a Comet

I've thrown a lot of Rivers, and only 1 was what I'd call flippy. Any River with decent PLH is pretty neutral.

That disc simply does not exist, and probably can’t. Due to the increase in rim width, anything faster will fade harder and have more lateral movement.
That said, the closest that I’ve thrown are the old domey S-Line FDs.

Yeah I think we can trust this fella at this point. Never tried a mantis unfort. Never understood their fairways, they all seem so similar.
