Sounds like how the Millennium plastic Astras flew for me, compared to the Archon. Are the Q Astras less stable than the Archon?

I have a limited amount of throws with them but from what ive gathered.the q astra flies similar to the star archons onlly with a little more glide and more forward fade. Not just a dump off when it loses speed. I cant wait to throw these tomorrow

If it's somewhat more HSS than the M Astra and still glides, it should be pretty great.

I have a 175g Champ Archon and a 164g star archon. I am thinking about picking up a Q astra in a lighter weight then my 175 Champ archon. Has anyone compared the champ archon to the Q astra?

@HeartlessCynic - the Q-Astra is a just a limited CFR run right now. They have not released any details on if the Quantum run will become permanent. They have acknowledged in the past that running the Astra and Quasar in other lines(from the current stock selection) would be ideal. Based off what I know about when new discs sell well...and pure speculation here...but if I were to release a new stock disc I would probably aim for holiday seasons or early spring time.

@lilbrummy87 - The archon has less glide. This leads to the disc loosing speed and having a late dump(not fade, but "dump"). The astra doesn't lose speed like the archon does. The astra maintains its line and speed until the glide runs out. It will not dump down like the archon. It is less stable and honestly has a more desired flight. The archon is a fickle disc, the astra isn't as touchy.

Is thier any noticable difference in the mold between the Astra and Archon. Things like a spacer or different wing.
