Sword is so straight and long if you get it up to speed with a clean throw. And it holds control lines well too.

It earned a permanent place in my bag with a big ace a couple months ago.

Hole #8 at our local track is a 445' large dog leg with a huge tree at the bend point. If you make it around the tree you have a nice straight approach to the basket.

Well since the Sword I could never launch it around that damn tree until Sunday. Not only did the Sword deliver I was able to par that bad boy for the first time. Thank you Westside.......
What weight is the sword you are throwing?

Opto Sword is quickly becoming my go-to driver; it's pretty much all of the control I could ask for in a 400ft+ driver.

I'm liking my TP Sword so far. I've been having trouble getting good grip on my speed 13 stuff so I'm considering stepping back from my rampages to the sword for my long distance lines. It seems to get my pretty good distance without a ridiculous amount of effort. I may lose 20 feet or so of distance from the rampages, but the consistency in my throw with the smaller rim is probably worth the loss of distance.

The stupid thing is I didn't like the sword when I first got one. Obviously I was too much of a noob to throw it correctly.
I traded it for a river which I still throw. Eventually I acquired twin tourney swords that are mainstays in both of my bags where I used to throw a wraith/flow. I've parked a nice skip shot with one on a very long approach. It was awesome to watch. For max D I'll use a king, but there has to be room to work it right then left. The sword holds such a nice tight line and slices through the air. It's my accuracy distance driver for sure.

I have a Sword, (only Westside disc), with the Barsbyline stamp on it. Holds a great line with very little fade or turn for me. And I'm right at the 350+ foot mark. Love the disc! Wanna get another Westside disc to see if they are all like this!

I think there is a dude who is a sword lover that hangs out near the bathrooms in the landfill.
