Default First form check

A little background, I can hit 340-350 consistently, on good throws I think I'm pushing 380-390. I've plateaued there for a few months, I think I'm only a few fixes from hitting 400 but I would love every bodies opinion.

Looking over these, I think what stands out to me is my reachback timing being slightly off, and not getting much power from my legs.

This throw came out pretty well, just a bit lower than I would like.

This was a pretty noticeable slip.

Edit:The youtube embeds dont appear to be working for me, heres the links in case:

Looks like you might have an issue with your grip.

Huh. I've actually been working on it lately, it feels much better than it did a few weeks ago.

I've heard people talking about "turning the key"? Rotating the wrist at the hit but I'm not sure the specific of it which may be making it funky.

Your self-analysis is spot on. Reachback timing or transition sequence and balance. You start turning before your weight shifts forward from behind you, so you effectively have no reachback. You also lean away from the target and tip your balance back and forth instead of staying in dynamic upright balance to rotate faster. Watch how Will turns his foot backwards as he plants, and watch how your foot turns forward.

When I try to keep my torso behind my plant and rotating like will it feels awkward on my hip.

I'm looking at how will bends his leading knee, which looks like it allows him to keep his weight behind his plant. I keep mine fairly straight which seems like it makes the hips less flexible and force me to come over the top so I don't rip my leg out. I'll experiment with the knee next time I'm out.
