Default No Discraft XS love?

I throw the XL, and while I see very few people in real life who do also (read: no one) it still gets a fair amount of love online. Enter the XS. It feels quite a bit similar in the hand. Similar profile, similar speed, similar stability and no one talks about it. Ironically I've seen one person in real life throw it, which is one more then the XL.

I was browsing through Marshall St. because they sometimes have interesting comments on disc's and came across this...

Discraft Z XS, "Please buy this disc we have too many." http://www.marshallstreetdiscgolf.co...aft/page8.html

And if you click on the link to it... "This turnover disc (1.5) from Discraft was the choice of champions for about five minutes. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just there are so many other discs that are better." http://www.marshallstreetdiscgolf.co.../ST-2478/Z-XS/

Brutal sales pitch no?

I actually just got one in Elite X.

I haven't thrown it, but I've been on a kick looking for overlooked discs.

Searches for the disc don't help either as XS is too short to search for :/

How would you rate it flight wise. It doesn't feel as fast as it's rated on joe's chart, specially since all the comparisons are to an XL

The xs should probally be in more peoples bags then it is.
See the xl is slower then xs, making it a versitile fairway driver. With the xs being faster, it has been out-speeded, along with simillar discs like the wildcat or flash.
Both are straight flyers for most ams and turnover drivers for pros.

What I always find wierd is that the Viking gets lots of love though they're so simillar.

love the Xl (esp). it is becoming my main driver. i also have a Z XS, have only thrown it a few times and didn't like it that much (not that you can get a good idea from just a few throws). seemed like a little shorter, not as understable as my avenger SS.

didn't see a need to keep throwing the XS since i use the avenger SS

I throw a Z XS for straight distance drives and can turn it over with very little if any fade with thrown with the heat. I also have two in the X plastic that are GREAT hyzer flip distance disc now that they're broken in. I love this disc. Too bad it is commonly over looked. They're loss.

The xs is waaay more versitile then your normal understable driver.
Its also a former distance record holder. Great for thumbers too.
If your using an xl as a workhorse but may want a lil more distance or stability, since it's a notch faster. If your using your xl for only turnover shots, don't bother. If you throw avenger ss' for turnovers but lack snap to consistantly turn em, a beat xs would be better for you, but a new z may be a lil stable.

Already owning a Teebird, and TL Its hard to me to want to try something that sits between the too (the XL and XS literally around the TL on marshallstreets chart).

I got my gf a FLX XL, maybe ill get her an xs too.

The reason you never hear about any love for the XS is that this description is pretty accurate.

I have an XS. I loved it... for about five minutes. Now I'm throwing other discs that do exactly what it did for me, but better.

It seems like I'm not alone.
