250 ft shoulda been ace with the proxy yesterday. Elevated tee shot. Was your quintessential Proxy shot, ya know unwaveringly straight at the basket with zero wiggle. Disc hit chains as pure as it gets. The chains literally cradled the disc and appeared in, but when the chains unraveled it spit the disc out as if it didn't taste good enough. Couldn't believe it.

Speaking of Proxy aces... just got one this Saturday. Short hole (#3 at Canaan) but still an ace. Dead straight lazer into the heart of the chains. Never gets old!

I also almost aced with a neutron Pilot - it won me the CTP throw off. I had to stand by as 40 more throws came in just hoping mine would hold......it did. MVP Axiom Streamline Putters are legit as f

I recently aced with my 160g plasma proxy. Hole 17 at Ironside Bluffs in Show Low AZ, 243' straight as an arrow but a blind shot as the fairway drops away from the tee. It was a majestic elevator shot that fortunately stuck.
This blue sparkle beauty has been a staple in my bag for 3+ years. If you're a proxy fan but have not tried one in the 160-164 range, you won't regret picking one up.

Okay. So I've had a Proxy since summer last year. I tossed it and the Envy around but never really clicked with either disc. Fast forward to this summer and I've been working on my forehand with putters and I absolutely love the Proxy now! It has enough glide but not so much that it's difficult to range. Really nice for straight approaches in the woods.

But what really makes me love this disc is it's versatility. I can throw it 60% power and flat and get a lovely turning shot to the ground. I can throw it 80% with some hyzer and get that same turning anhyzer. I can throw it close to full power with tons of hyzer and it stands all the way up and finishes dead straight (helpful on hole 4 at Harmony Bends in CoMo - 288 feet downhill low ceiling, pretty tight on either side and dead straight.) I can throw it at 60% with some hyzer and get a gorgeous straight penetrating shot. Can do the same shot but farther if I throw about 80% with lots of hyzer. Such a beautiful straight to understable flight.

I'm only sad it took me so long to click with it and the Envy.

I love the soft Envy precisely because it is more OS than other Envys. Fits right in between a freshie N Envy and my ESP Zone.

Currently bagging a fresh N Soft when I want my Envy to fade, a fresh N that is a laser beam, beat one that has a little HS turn but basically no fade, and an N Soft Proxy that has a just a touch of HS turn but is very straight overall. So bagging 3 Envy and 1 Proxy right now. I use all of them multiple shots a round.

Someone in the thread mentioned plasma being on the US side. That has been my experience with the plasma proxy I have. New N Soft almost flies like an Envy, but my newish plasma shows turn and no fade.

If anyone likes Proton Envys I have 4 throwers I'd be happy to swap for N's and Soft N's.

Proxy rules. Envy rules. Still the best throwing putter combo in disc golf. Sorry to my Rocs and Truths that no longer get to fly.

Just got out during my lunch break to play a quick 9-hole putter only round. Finished -6 with my Envy and Proxy. But wanted to shout-out my Proxy which I threw in three times from 80 feet+ and knocked down a couple 30-40 foot putts too. Love this thing right now.
