Default Disc releasing hard to the right

Is there a common form error that causes a disc to yank to the right?

I'm an RHBH and this has never been an issue for me in the past. Lately it's a common occurrence. It seems I can feel the disc catching on my last two fingers at release, and shooting off at about a 45 degree angle from my intended line.

If it's not a grip issue (check that), then it could be a timing issue...causing the hit when the disc is released to feel "mushy" rather than crisp and clean. Play around with elbow positioning, like how far ahead you get your elbow before you start to open your elbow and shoulder. It's likely just a very small timing issue that causes the disc to come out just a little too slowly so it can catch on different fingers. If the hit is really clean over a very small distance/time period then this shouldn't be able to happen.

This is my first guess, but otherwise make sure grip (and firmness of grip) is proper, and that you are throwing on the same plane as well.

Not be able to see you throw, do you pull the disc through on the launch kinda like pulling the cord on an old lawn mower or is the launch more like a wide fanning motion? Can you put up a clip?

Are you playing on a regular basis? Or is this the first time playing in awhile. I had the same problem today. Played for the first time in a month and a half and for me it was rusty timing. I was hitting right, but opening my follow through too soon with my arm and as I followed through I released the disc late. More practice/play quelled the issue after a bit
