I have the lid. The print is beautiful and the resolution is insanely small. Ozone knows how to make a proto disc!

Unfortunately, on the other hand I don't know how to make a good proto disc. It is a little understable. Not crazy understable but it will turn a little on a 100' throw which is not what we are aiming for. My best guess is that I did not compensate for the fact that it is faster due to the lower profile. It needs a little more mass in the rim. When I get some free time I will add weight to the rim to figure out how much mass needs to be added in order to get a neutral flight. NBD, I was just hoping to nail it on the first try.

Now for the good news:
Glide is good as-is right now. Adding weight should not affect it too much.

The in-hand feel is phenomenal!!! Absolutely LOVE it. I can't wait to get the weight allocation calculated so we can get a second iteration of this made.

I'll post video of the current state and the modified state when I get free time. I have been working 16 hour days for the last two weeks so finding time is difficult right now. Hopefully next week I will be able to do some testing.

Despite the understable tendency, I am really excited about this!

Again, huge thanks and shout-out to Ozone Discs for helping us out here!

What are the specs of the proto?
Seems to me that making is slightly deeper might fix the US, no?

The basic printing of the disc looks like you took a Innova Zephyr made it smaller than lowered the profile.

Nice I lived in Wisconsin in the 1990's from 2-12 while my dad was going to University of Wisconsin. I did not play Disc colf till i moved to where I live now in later 2003. I used an old Lightning Rubber Putter Pre DuPont material as my disc, the DX Stingray I got was lost on an old sign course that no longer exists.
the Thumbtrack on the second run the Thumbtrack was more smoothed not like a thumbtrack now but something else like a indented flight plate. I had played with an uncles old 165 gram Zephyr he got from a friend that was like this and then at one point in the early 2000's they had a big batch of the Zephyrs come out like that second run. Every now and then in the 2000's in stores you could find some like the second run of Zephyrs.
