I bag one of each, and I don't have a huge arm. I throw Wraiths as my main distance driver for reference.
My 170g 10 year star destroyer is the disc i throw if I need a long straight power shot and I think my most stable Wraith might flip too much.
My 174g pink VIP World is my max distance bomber disc, and with a good rip will fly a 14/5/-2/2 flight.
I think they're both great drivers but there isn't really much in common between the two.

To be that guy...my pink TP and pink Elasto are both more overstable than my white TP and white VIP. Only those four are my sample size as far as pink and white go, though.

I have not thrown as many worlds as I have destroyers, but more than 10 of each. The world is generally less stable for sure. Flippiest world Ive thrown is not as flippy as a vulcan top destroyer. Most OS world is not as OS as a fresh SDS or 4x. The destroyer and world generally go about as far, world relies on speed a little more and destroyer on glide.
The combo of glide and stability is what makes the destroyer the favorite.

FWIW my most stable(os) world was a gold TP. My flippiest a pink vip. My most $ one for distance was anothe pink vip but it had a predictable turn from a hyzer. My hybrid white was easily the straightest start to finish disc I have thrown in that speed category. Less turn than an average destroyer or world but less fade too.
