This is the first time Ive seen the Taurus groupednin with rocs. I dont know anything about this disc. Anyone have a link or more info on why its grouped in, and how it differs from the Rancho Rocs?
Theres a whole thread on it but basicially is a RocX. Very similar to the Rancho Roc but maybe a bit taller and the protos at least were penned RX if I remember correctly.

Taurus (penned RX) is to Rancho Roc as RocX3 (penned RX3) is to Roc3.

When I threw Rocs I used a KC Pro, bottom stamped DC rancho, and a Comet. I guess I could go Ontario instead of Comet but you know, Comets.

Never tried any of the sacrilegious Rocs.

All the cool kids know the Roc3 is the best. If Climo had a Roc3, he could have won at least 15 Worlds. Get rid of your Ranchos, Cds, and Dvds and join the 21st century.

Both regular Rocs and Roc3s are great. Feels like the regular ones needs to be thrown more like a putter and then they are great for getting those tricky lines. Roc3 can be thrown more like a driver to dependantly place it up ahead. RocX3 feels great but so far I haven't found the need for that extra stability. Never tried any others besides the VRoc but didn't get enough throws to know anything about it.

I go with Roc3s because they're easy to replace in champion as my homecourses have way too much stone and rocks in the landing areas to make DX Rocs be worth it

I never liked the cool kids.
I prefer the Rancho

At least you didn't continue on with your modern discing theme and suggest the V-Roc

I was only trying to be sarcastic, not sound like a crazy person.

Seriously though, I prefer the Roc3. There is less variation in the feel (mostly always flat), are readily available in many different plastics, and start out maybe just a tick less stable than a KC (basically start closer to the sweet spot). That is just my personal preference, and I recognize the Roc is a classic but also still one of the most practical molds to carry.

All's good, I was only busting on you.

I just prefer the slight dome of Ranchos
