Default Innova Cobra vs Discraft Comet, Life's Most Difficult Question

Big life decisions must be made, and your input would be appreciated. Cobra or Comet? I've been going back and forth for years now with these two discs, but I need to settle on one. I throw both around the same distance (300-320), use them for the same types of shots, both are beaded, they both begin with C, and both are 5 letters.
Cobra Pros/Cons: Lower profile for my smaller hands, comes in grippy DX plastic, seems a bit faster then a Comet, but doesn't seem to have the same amount of glide. Lower lines that don't require much height seem to work better with this. The DX plastic does wear quickly, but not as quickly as many would want you to believe. It has a sweet stamp of hooded cobra ready to strike.
Comet Pros/Cons: Even though I like the lower profile of the Cobra, the Comet's depth doesn't bother me. Glide for days. More plastic options, but they do cost a little more then the old DX. Stamp is not as sweet as a Cobra, but MJ does throw this disc, so that's awesome.

Those that have thrown both or settle on one or the other, what are your thoughts. Give me your sales pitch. Thanks.

pro line cobras will always hold a special place in my heart...

but i made the switch to comets and never have looked back.

a well beat gila serves as that faster, low line disc. low profile like the cobra, too.

Depends on the Feel you like more than anything. Personally I like the Piwakawaka in this a lot but the Cobra is nice too. Comet feels chunky to me.

I have a DX Cobra and baseline Comet and for me they both feel very similar. I put the Cobra in my bag because it has a gentle turn to it but the Comet is in my practice bag for field work.

For me, Cobras have a lot of fade and do more of that S flight. If I back off of one like I throw a Comet, that fade kicks in and it's waaayyy short of where a Comet glides out to. They are probably similar in the early part of the flight, but they end so differently I don't even seem them as similar discs. Plus as you have mentioned, the Cobra can work on a lower line than a Comet. If it was me and I liked both, I'd keep both. I'd use the Comet as the workhorse and slide the Cobra in if I had a lower ceiling or needed the disc to get left at the end.

Edit: This of course depends on the Cobra. They used the www Stingray top for a few years and those Cobras don't really fade. They are closer to a Comet, but don't have the glide. The Ontario Cobra (which I believe is what is in production now) has the harder fade. If this is a www Cobra vs Comet discussion, it's Comet hands down. Ontario Cobras are cool, though. I could see baging both a Comet and an Ontario Cobra.

Not a difficult question, not a difficult answer: COBRA all the way and then some.

No snakes here. It's quite akward to carry snakes in your bag, I think. COMETS, all the way to the bitter end!

Reading your post makes me think you really want to bag the Cobra.

Room in your bag for both?

You didn't really list any cons for the Comet. If you have both already, just bag both for a while and use them when you're on the course. One will probably edge out the other.

I settled on the Comet. The flight won me over and I haven't really tried to find something else. But I'm a fan of well-established molds. I mean, I still bag Teebirds and they're OLD!
