Default over stable mids

i'm looking to add an over stable mid to my bag since things are usually windy on my home course. i have been throwing rocs but after picking up a buzzz i'm thinking of dropping the rocs. so far my short on my short list are the discraft wasp and innova gator. are there others i should be considering and what are your opinions of the wasp and gator? thanks.

My personal experience with my Wasp is that it flips up easier than I would like, even though it has a harder fade at the end. To me, that means it's not nearly as good with the wind.

My personal preference for wind fighting mids is either a heavyweight Z Buzz or, if its really windy, an FLX Drone. The Drone is INCREDIBLY overstable and will fight through anything, but it doesn't have a lot of distance because it fades so fast.

the Innova Gator is super over stable now, the Cro in anything but DX is overstable. The first run Star Cro's and CFR Champs are the most overstable

Here we go again.

EDIT: Well, I should just throw in there I think a Roc or a Warrior or Wasp is as overstable as you need for a mid and if you need something beefier, I would say use your OS fairway driver.

Sorry. I will not throw anything other than my Buzzz which is really overstable.

Heavier/Z Buzz: Depending on the weight and plastic of the Buzzz you're using, of course. Heavier = more overstable. Z plastic is also more stable than any of the other Discraft plastics.

Z Wasp: Has a similar feel in the hand to a Buzzz. In heavier weights, they'll fade pretty quickly. With enough power, however, they'll still flip into a headwind.

Drone: Z Drones, or at least the one I had, fly like bricks. I can throw most putters quite a lot farther. They're also a lot different feel than the Buzzz. They're a lot deeper dome, and actually feel a bit like a putter in the hand. I've thrown an FLX Drone that was much more workable for me. But it's still too overstable for me to enjoy throwing at 350-400' of arm power.

Demon: To me, they feel weird in the hands, and are too overstable to be used properly for amateur level arms. There's also the Gateway plastic factor: you never know how it's going to feel until you touch it, you never know how it's going to fly until you throw it, and you never know if it will hold up until you crank a tree with it. They're notoriously inconsistent.

I would recommend a Drone or a Gator if you want something to snap. I currently carry a gator for utility purposes, but I would like to try a drone. I have heard good things.

Gateway HPP Demon is an awesome and incredibly underrated overstable mid

Drone and Gator will do the trick as well

Although it's a fairway driver, the Whippet could also fill the spot you are looking for
