Default Telescoping Disc Retreiver

I'm new to the game but have found out quick I needed a retreiver to recover my water shots in my home course. I made a 3' long retreiver from an extendable modified magnet I pucharsed from harbor freight. It worked ok, but was too short. So I purchase another and modified it to attach to the 1st one giving me a total of about 6'. That worked for a while but was still too short and the weak stainless steel tubing started to break.

So I found this FEEL GOLF ball reteiver at Academy. I removed the ball grabber and installed a dics hook. I then modified my bag so it would fit on the side. Now I have a bit more than 10' reach

Nice. I know they have ball retrievers that extend longer, but don't compact to such a small size. One of those could still be handy to keep in your car however in case your portable one won't reach.

the fact that it is so compact makes this one pretty good..

I've used the scepter from whirled sports and that works really well

I got the 20 foot version from this website. Works well for both water and discs caught in trees. I modified the end to fit a bolt with 1/2 inch washers to grab the sidewall of a disc.

I think I'm going to get this... How small is it when collapsed?

2 meters isn't long enough from what I've found. Anytime I need help other than my body, I need about at least ten feet.
