Exclamation 2011 Rules Change! NO WEDGIES!

Wowwawowa, my favorite putt gone! PDGA has snatched the wedgie out from under us faster then we could "pull it through". Check it out, thoughts?

This has already been posted. However I'm not a big fan of this rule. I don't understand how the rule was causing problems. A disc that is supported by the basket is a hole out. I knew this rule within the first 2 weeks of picking up the game. It's not that hard to understand.

I don't think it's a huge deal. This has never happend to me, and its not something I would attempt to do anyway.

The only problem I have with this rule is that I don't have a Wedge Ace yet... and now I never will.

so?

how often does that happen?

better yet, of the ~13000 members here, how many of us have a wedge ace?

non-issue IMO. aim a little higher next time.

I just don't like the way it's worded. I'm fine with wedgies not being allowed but I think all of them should be disallowed, not this BS "depends how the disc got wedged and if anybody saw it happen" malarkey. I have enough trouble explaining the rules to n00bs as it is.
