Dude, If you are referring to Forest, I believe he has has already passed away. Unless he has a new one that I know nothing about. I always figured that was the reason he has pretty much stopped course bagging. If he still was bagging like he used too, he would be well beyond 3000 courses played. MD played his first 100 courses in about 3 weeks. I remember it well.

I thought I saw some recent pictures posted, but if not, my apologies and condolences if the dog has passed. Still a cool dog, though.

Definitely a cool dog. A cool road trip dog for sure, that dog bagged more courses than most members of this site.

Forest passed a little over 4 years ago. I went dogless for about 6 months before I got Aspen - After a Forest burns down, often the first tree to return is the Aspen tree. Aspen is pretty good about disc golfing, though we don't do it often enough for him to be as "perfect" as Forest was. Forest likely could hold a world record for most disc golf courses played (walked) by a dog, especially in a given year, total he was probably at 7-800 (several road trips, or at least portions of trips he wasn't with me due to the fact that I was traveling for work, and work didn't allow dogs). Forest helped design Bald/Golden Eagle, and Aspen helped design Pathway of the Gods. Aspen has probably played 150 courses or so, and he's quite a bit younger than Forest was when he even started playing, so plenty of time for him to catch up yet.

A good disc dog is amazing at their peak... the one thing about the new guys is enthusiasm.
