If asymptomatic spread....even spread, in general, were not a thing, this makes sense. Seems these folks are comfortable with the chances for all those they infect, as well.

But that's the thing I see argued which cracks me up. Idiots can't figure out a "survival rate" or a "death rate". Look back at the Wisconsin Department of Health Twitter feed when they implemented the shutdowns earlier this year. People were coming up with a .0005 percentage number or some dumb crap. They were using "fatalities" and dividing it with the states population. That was their argument. I quickly checked myself outta that argument knowing full on I was dealing with morons. I'm like that only works if every single person in the state is sick.....just dumb.

Maybe we need to look into more public education reform when this is over? Some of these kids should have been left behind a year or two and passed a few more tests...

I had one of these morons spell it out for me. The health department put out a tweet with # of tests, # of deaths, # of positive cases and # of hospitalized for the state. The numbers were right there.

So my logic was to use #of deaths and # of positives to get a fatality rate of I think it was 4% at that time. Is that right? Idk. Seems right.

They were using the # of deaths and the states entire population to get a number of .058% I think was their #. Is that right. No. You are solving for the wrong question there. That means .058% of our entire state has died.

Hundreds of people were berating our governor for the mandates and shutdowns and that was their logic.

Yes, generally.

It doesn't incorporate the lag between infection, and death. It would be a better figure if you used the #of positives from 3 weeks ago. Right now my state's case fatality rate is going down, because so many cases are flooding into the formula, but the death increase hasn't started yet.

I just did the number of infections divided into the number of deaths and came up with 2.17%. This was from the CDC site.

Is this something you know? I would really love to have that information. I think, if you are publicly denying COVID and you take it to that kind of level, outing him/them would only be fair. Why should they get to hide and promote their pathetic agenda?
