Arrogance? Hardly No practice and thinking you are the best is the very definition of arrogance.
Yet another example of focusing on the wrong thing and missing what is actually important.

He said he hardly ever practices putting because he is already getting superior results. Did you miss the "I beat the best in the country" part?

That doesn't mean he doesn't practice anything at all. You can't give 100% effort in working on all phases of the game at all times. Right now you yourself are giving 100% effort to max distance. But you said you have problems with ranging throws under 250'. So clearly there is a big hole in your game that you are completely ignoring. Can you hit at least 80% of your putts from 30'? If not, that's another big hole in your game. Maybe you personally don't really care about those aspects of your game. But then that means that, if someone were to focus narrowly on that, then it could be said that you "don't really care."

Practice for the sake of practice, effort for the sake of effort...unless your goal is to be good at practicing or exerting effort, that isn't the ultimate goal. What is important is, what is the process that yields tangible results?

As for arrogance, it isn't arrogance if it is true. He is winning putting leagues, so he is producing results that back up his words. Arrogance is claiming competence and superiority without any objective measure or result to back it up.

You keep bringing up Paul McBeth, PP, the best of the best etc. You keep talking about 500-600 foot throwers. That's a great goal, but how specifically are you going to get there? It isn't just some nebulous plan of out-efforting people. You shouldn't even be worried about 500 feet until you can throw 400 feet. Saying, "who knows, maybe I already throw 400 feet" means nothing. The flat out truth is that you haven't done it, so you don't.

Again, focus on what is important. That is your biggest weakness right now based on what you have shown.

You twitched your hips too early so they've got nothing left for when it counts. They are moving but they aren't driving; they're just along for the ride.

Could we have a mod do that and just yank all the posts about him out of this thread?

I'll keep this thread alive if we can stop with the unhelpful back and forth.

Can you shift the RoDeO discussion to the thread he created in the form forum?

I think half the thread will need to be moved.

But at least there will be clarity to this thread for those of us who actually read it, unlike Jay Dub.
