That's very interesting. That is always the demo we see, pulling the disc away from someone, but definitely not the grip they show (power grip or fork grip, etc.). What your saying makes a lot of sense and is more realistic if you pulled a disc away from a kid.

I power grip almost everything, and my pressure is focused between my index and thumb. The disc rips from my hand at the first index knuckle (I have a callous there always). I believe the back fingers rip open and the disc pivots around the index and thumb, but that's just what I feel. I know a lot of people find success in other ways. |

That is exactly how he grips and he moves his thumb over about and inch and squeezes until it bends the plate. |
