Default Discraft Pulse

Been looking at this disc as a forehand and overhand disc, maybe to be a little more versatile than the Flick?

Anyone using one?

Comments, yay or nay?

yay.
certainly more versatile flick. a z surge is a fine sidearmer imo also, the pulse is nice because its got a similar flight path but with a dab more stability.
my pulses did get a bit flippy after a few months of heavy use w the sidearm. i dont know if thats a pro or con for you though.

yay.

This is my go to sidearm disc. I like the way it feels in the hand, and the "groove" on the top fits my thumb nicely. Mine is starting to get beat in tho and will not come back if I put too much angle on it. It is pretty darn stable out of the box. I rarely throw this disc backhand.

Sounds like it could compliment my Surge SS well.

Good ones are great, bad ones are like flippy Surges. Flat top light colored oranges usually are the best. Great for overhead shots and pistols. Also fits a spot in my bag between my Predator and Force on back hand shots.

You mean the thumbtrack deal? I have always been a fan, from my old Pumas, to my Banger-GTs, while both very different types of thumbtracks. There is just some sort of grip confidence or something.

One thing holding me back for now, it that the Pulse looks like it is only available in ESP. I prefer Z for Discraft.
