Default Challenge: Take an Old Disc to the Course

I'd like to challenge you all to go through your stack of never used and pick one out. Some unloved piece of plastic (or rubber) that you havnt thrown in years and see what happens. Be it a groove that you know you hated or that cobra that always seemed to shallow. Just pick one out you didn't click with when you bought it and see how it flies now.

I'm not saying to take it to your tournement this weekend, but rather a casual round. Even if it's just for a second shot.

I am going to pull out my pfn champ viking. This disc and I never clicked. It has very few in round throws, but was in my bag for years. I just never felt confident with it. A few years ago it came out and it's never made it out of the stack since. I probably won't get a round in until this weekend.

Problem is... I'm doing this all the time...

In the spirit of the thread, I think one of my Star Coyotes might get into the bag...

Sounds fun, but I don't keep discs that I don't like. If I did, I'd need a whole room dedicated to all the stuff that never stuck in my bag over the years.

I do this all the time too. I rotate a disc or two I don't like and make myself play with it. sometimes it makes me change my mind about a disc, but more often it helps me throw better because I have to figure out how to compensate for it. sounds weird but I can't stop myself from doing it. and yes, I'm actually bagging a Star Coyote now and love it!

Oldest disc I own... EliteX Wildcat I got at a tournament in 2002. Right as I started playing, there was a tourney just down the road from my college that a buddy took me to. He bought me my first disc. Thing is beat to hell now and is basically only a roller or a hyzerflip from a 45 degree or more angle, but I'll give it a shot!
