Default Easter Traffic

Every year our course gets completely trashed on Easter. Plastic eggs and confetti everywhere. Baskets used for BBQs. Benches unchained and moved. (In some cases a 1/4 mile away.) Tagging on tee signs.

It sucks.

I used to be in charge of athletics for a park district, and every June we would absolutely trash our main park for a festival. They used the softball fields for a car show, the soccer fields for parking. If it rained I was screwed. I used to get one day to clean up and repair what I could before softball leagues would play again.

It sucked.

So no hopes for an "Easter Ace"?

I might get a round in on one of the few local courses that is actually open. All of the holes are like a mile long, so no Easter aces.

Had a buddy who cooked rabbit every Easter! Just as coincidence, he would set up an object course at the farm that we played a couple of Easters. Only trouble was, if you threw into the cattle waste collection pit; which I did one year. Had to get hosed down from head to foot after that one. Needless to say, a bit of drinking was involved in these, eating rabbit, playing disc, climbing into the disposal pit; holiday celebrations. I had no idea that I would be sinking over my knees in that muck!!

I haven't been to any of my courses, but just from the amount of traffic, I'm avoiding all of them like the plague. There are already a ton of ball golfers in town, so the DG Course that shares a ballgolf courses is definitely out. aah Spring time in Myrtle Beach!
