I've been liking the MVP Portal baskets that Pine Hills has in MI. 30 Chains in 3 rows has been catching really well from what I've seen. But overall, as long as the basket has at least 2 rows of chains, I'm good with it. All that have been mentioned are all good baskets.

They are in several courses locally, most are the bright powder-coat version. And yes, they do like harder putts, but I much prefer that since I've seen more chain-throughs on Mach and Chainstar baskets and would rather have a soft putt get kicked back than a 60 footer that should've sank not having enough chains to grab onto.

Although they aren't my favorite, Innova Discatchers are the easiest sell to the city council. They just look good. They make the park look good. I prefer others, but if you need to get council members on board... get the big yellow band. Easy to see. You can even put sponsors of each hole on the bands. From a selling standpoint, they're the way to go.

I was really impressed with the Prodigy baskets the first time I played on them. Very attractive and one of the best catchers in the business.

The only thing I don't like about Innova discatchers is that if the basket sees a lot of sun those bright yellow bands fade to urine yellow really fast. Some of the courses around me got Innova baskets when the chains weren't galvanized properly and they rusted really quick too but I think Innova made good on them if they got contacted.

I like the Disc Golf World Tour (DiscGolfPark) baskets with the thick yellow post on the base. Makes it look more complete, balanced.

Dynamic Discs Veterans -- no extra charge for other colors, plus the design has diminished "spit-outs" to nearly nil. See the Waco Charity Open 2017.
