Default victorb 2012 bagness

Ok, so new year, new post, though not much has changed with my bag in a while. Feeling like things are getting a bit complicated, so I might be scaling back just because I don't get to play as much as I used to.

Drivers
175 Star TeeDevil
175 1.2 SOLF, new
175 1.2 QOLF, new
175 1.1 SOLF, worn
171 1.1 MOLF, beat
171 Z Pred, flat and super overstable
173 Z Pred, worn

Tweeners
175 Cryztal Stalker, slightly overstable
176 Z Stalker, new
174 Z Stalker, worn for flips and turnovers
172 Z Hornet, new

Mids
177 ESP Comet, new
175 Z Comet, new
174 Z Comet, beat
177 X Comet, super beat

Putters
174 Cryztal Challenger
174 D Challenger, beat, approach putter
174 D Challenger (x2, for putting)

Seriously considering going with Orions, Predators, Stalkers, Comets and Challengers just to take some of the extra guesswork out of picking my discs for certain shots.

So you would only be dropping out the teedevil and hornet?

Why esp and z comet new? What does that bring you?

1. Yes.

2. The ESPs I have seem to be straighter overall in flight compared to the Z, even with the nose up. Mainly just a comfort thing I suppose, I throw the ESP comet more often than the new Z.

I've gone with CDs for now...we'll see if they are solid enough to stay in.

Finally added a couple of high speed drivers to stay in the bag. Throwing OLFs as my distance driver all last year really helped me get more distance out of faster discs. I'm throwing drives more in the 410-425' range consistently with the boss. Slightly tweaking midrange lineup. Threw fairly decent at the tournament with my setup last weekend, not quite as good as I hoped for but I did play above my rating both rounds.

Drivers
175 Pro Boss, new. - Open drives
175 Star Boss, new. - A little added stability
175 1.2 SOLF, new - Control driver
175 1.1 SOLF, worn - Control driver, works lots of lines well
171 1.1 MOLF, beat - Turnover driver.

Fairways
171 Z Pred, flat and super overstable
173 Z Pred, worn - the workhorse.
175 Star Teebird - slightly overstable fairway driver
171 Star Teebird - main fairway driver, beating this one in
175 DX Teebird - finesse shots, hyzer flips, midrange distance for low ceilings

Mids
180 Star San Marino Roc - beefy, not a lot of glide
176 KC Pro Roc, new - slightly overstable mid
180 DX Glow Roc, new - fresh for break in cycle
175 DX Rancho Roc, worn - wearing into turnover mid
177 ESP Comet, new - touch upshots
177 X Comet, super beat - so beat I don't think I could take it out for another disc for a while, or at least until I thrashed another X comet

Putters
174 Cryztal Challenger, new - hyzer approaches
174 D Challenger, beat, approach/turnover putter
174 D Challenger (x2, for putting)

Do you ever feel like you need a turnover disc between your beat Comet and your beat MOLF? Or do you use the DX TeeBird for that?

The beat MOLF powers down well enough that I use it for most turnover drives - it's beat enough that I have to throw it like a midrange to get it to go straight with a fade at the end. If I need something between the comet and MOLF though I definitely depend on the dx teebird.

or you're going to have to be more specific about what discs you're asking for.
