You have the big bead Surge, commonly known as the Surge BB and the beadless Surge or Surge BL.

I'm almost positive on this....

Is the/your suggestion that Innova uses one mold and stamps some Wraith and others Destroyer? (Random guess on the model)

Nope not even close to what I mean, the Wraith and Destroyer are two different molds.

I mean that ROC/ROC 3 are the same mold, then Innova plays it both ways that the 3 top discs are the old mold according to PDGA and needing testing, then the other way that ROC/3 are different that the ROC 3 is faster at speed 5 and speed 4 for ROC, same for Shark/3 Innova's Dave D is doing this.

Also Same but opposite for the different Aviars, all clearly different molds, Classic, P&A/3, and Big Bead are claimed as same mold approval date by Innova site in 1984 yet each one of those discs is a new retool of the Aviar that has slipped through the PDGA need to get the mold tested despite PDGA rules clearly saying you need to test for each new retooling of a mold. At least the AviarX 3 was deemed by PDGA as a different enough mold that it had to get tested and Dave probably agrees that is a different mold entirely.

From ZAM in an older thread:

Quote:
The spacer is used to make the nose more blunt, and top match the top to the wing. They mix and match these parts so they need these nose spacers to make everything work, and in some cases affect the stability -- for instance the difference between a Sidewinder and Orion LS is just a matter of a nose spacer on the OLS that gives it a fatter, more stable nose.
