I have to suggest the MVP Resistor. It is a very unique disc. It has the flight characteristics if a felon or firebird, the wing if a slower fairway driver, but the speed of a mid. It powers down and up well. I mostly FH mone, but use it for BH shots that are a little to far for a zone. It is probably the most useful disc in my bag.

So I think the Hornet made the bag. I don't love it but it does what I need it to: make Truth like shots into winds that the Truth can't handle. Which means my putters/approach and mids are pretty much locked in.

I've been thinking about what I want from this bag in the end. I think I'd like to have a couplet at each distance slot (PnA, mid, fairway, control, distance) that can cover the whole right to left spectrum between their stabilities and the fact I'm just as comfortable throwing FH as I am BH. I may add some utility or bookend discs once I have those 8-10 molds (not sure if I really need high speed distance drivers) but this is the plan for now.

So far I have:
Aviar/Envy
Truth/Hornet
FD/ (trying out the Raptor here)

And then I think my control drivers will be:
SL/Starfire
-I really do want to move away from the OOP Champ SLs but I've got my go to that's barely broken in and two fresh backups... And love the way they fly, especially FH... Might as well throw them.

Well, it's the "offseason". Soon snow will be here, along with awkward footing and cold muscles, meaning standstills and discing down. I am loving building my bag from the ground up, but this winter I'll be sticking to putters and mids in the ol' NutSac. The FDs will definitely return in the spring and I'll start the building again by trying to find an OS complement when they do.

Envy: 169 Neutron
Truth: 178 Lucid x2
Hornet: 178 Z

So, I'd like some help brainstorming over the winter... What should I try for an OS complement to the FDs? I tried Raptors, but while those may still make the bag, they're faster and more overstable than what I'd like for my OS fairway. I want something that is more hold straight then fade , not a beefcake.

Why not some sort of Teebird? I throw thunderbirds but that may be too fast for what you're looking for, so I imagine some sort of Teebird would fill the slot well. There's also always the Rival from Legacy (basically the same as a Teebird)

My first thought is FD2. While I haven't thrown one, they were designed to mimic 2nd run FD's so they should feel similar. They are also described as straight to fade.

So I have barely played at all this year. Overtime at work, father to 3, life in general... finally got out this past weekend. My experience showed me that I need a simple bag of molds I know and trust.

So here is what I got:

Putters
Clutch x3- 2x 174g Gravity for putting, 1x 169g Icon for throwing/longer touch shots

Mids
Truth x2- 2x Lucid are the best discs I've ever thrown and my workhorses

Drivers
Banshee x3- 3x 175g Champ as a cycle for OS duties and a flick disc I can trust even when I'm rusty. Got a 6ish/10 and two close to new, going to try to work one of those in.

Are these Truths the -1/1 or the emac 0/2? I've never thrown the non-eMac ones, and I like the eMac. I've got a nice Warrant/eMac Truth/Verdict combo going on and I like it. I should use it more than I currently do. Nice to see you back on the forum

They're the -1/1. They are perfectly stable for me. Thrown flat they ride straight, a little fade when they slow down. Perfect disc for a workhorse for me.
