From what I've gathered, he never went to the doctor. He just used Drew, the nutritionist. And it seems like it a diagnosed by him. He had Ricky get hair/blood/etc. tests to confirm it, but was never stated if it was administered and reviewed by him. https://youtu.be/70OEdmDcKdk?t=1386

Wow the part that stuck out the most from that was when he talked about driving all the way back home. I figured somebody else would’ve helped out, but he was wayyyyy too casual talking about that and joking about driving on the wrong side of the road

And, um, Ricky, frisbees, etc. I tried to watch his explanation of his Lyme treatment and couldn't figure out whether he received conventional medical treatment or not. Kinda seemed like he did, but tried to downplay it. But I could be wrong.

I might not remember this exactly right, but I think I saw video of Ricky saying that he took Doxy for his hand injury between the time he got bit by a tick and the time the Lyme symptoms showed up. So he figured he already had the standard medical treatment for Lyme even if he didn't see a doc specifically for that reason.

Yup. Idk if the dosage/length of time he took it for his finger is the same required for lyme....but he did state that he was using doxy after the tick bite.

And if that didnt cure it, it makes sense to fight the symptoms naturally....because what other options are there?

It’s been a few weeks since I watched the original video with the nutritionist but I recall him saying he didn’t have symptoms until well after the tick bite and the antibiotic he took for his finger. The obvious error in logic is the assumption that his earlier tick bite is what caused the Lyme. We’re in the woods all the time and very often tick bites go undetected. If he had severe symptoms like he said, the smart thing to do is go to the doctor, not make your own diagnosis that the antibiotic you took for a finger issue should have fixed the Lyme and now there’s nothing to do but cut out sugar and refined carbs.

A Lyme specialist might have prescribed another oral antibiotic or maybe even an IV if the symptoms were as severe as he said. It’s considered a tricky and elusive disease in many cases, which is why there are specialists for it.

Ricky looks great, and I recognize that rush of well-being and energy from the whole food, no sugar diet. You feel years younger, sleep great, throw farther, etc. I don’t think it’s a cure-all though.

Once you beat the newness off that pro plastic it's got incredible grip. They're a little slick out of the box but that's true of most discs. Given how much Rick plays and practices with them I'd bet he could throw those on a frozen rope in a rainstorm.
