I usually get my waves probably 20 ft further, but i suspect that's because the extra turn helps keep it in the air longer. I've heard them compared to the wraith pretty often

I don't know how the Wraith flies today (Innova consistency being what it is) but the Wave flies like the early Wraiths. Good line extension with very little effort. It's allowed me to re-master the old-man short pull.

I havent thrown one. With the bottom wt being 164 and the lack of gyro (not that I 100% buy into the effectiveness of the dual mold process) I haven't picked one up. I probably should.

We are on opposite ends of the same journey! I disced down to Trespasses and Vanishes this whole year. Now end of season, I'm looking at auditioning King/Katana/Mayhem. Maybe for a slot in the bag, maybe just for field work. We'll see. My scoring really improved this year by discing down to more controllable drivers, so even if I put a Mayhem-like disc in the bag I don't foresee it being used very often.

I go back and forth all the time. With MVP and Axiom, I maintain a full bag of just those two. Fun diversion if I get bored. Scores don't change lol.

Had anybody here thrown a Plaz Trace and a CN Wave? Just wondering if they would overlap. My P wave is Perfect S turn end right for me, the Trace is straight with good fade. They fly 340-380 for me.

I've found 3 MVP discs, 2 were Waves. Come dudes we need to take better care of our Waves.

Since I lost my neutron Volt, I've got some more throws in with my Waves. I can now say with confidence, that CN is a lot more resistant to wind gusts than Plasma and Fission. The Fission is comically touchy. Last competition I had a throw where wind was rather swirly. The disc went off nice and straight until mid flight it suddenly turned over and almost rolled. I have never seen a disc turn so fast before. We all (me & a pool I was in) laughed after seeing that.

Waves are by far the most lost MVP disc I encounter. I've found no fewer than a dozen.

I've thrown a few good Waves, but mostly I find them too flat, flippy, and glideless to be of much use.
