Inertia vs. Wave

What are the differences between these two discs?

Physically, the Wave is 21.5mm rim (roughly speed 11.5 in Innova terms) vs the Inertia at 20mm (spd 10). In different plastics and weights, each mold can accomplish a variety of tasks, but each is primarily a stable-understable distance driver.

In my experience, I am able to get a 168g Proton Wave to hold a long turn moreso than with my 170g Proton Inertia and both are good to flip for a straight lines. If I was looking for a bit more control I'd select the Inertia, for a bit of extra D, the Wave.

As said, Wave is faster and more understable.
If you would play a round with just a few discs, Inertia would be more versatile.
Wave is more situational, but works great if you need a fast understable slot.

Weight really matters with both of these discs. At max and new, both will be more workable than flippy, unless you have a 400+ all day cannon.

But I've got a pretty beat in Prot Inertia that's about 168-170 and the flippiest driver in my bag.

My wife was bagging both. She would turn over the 174g proton wave really easy. The 168g proton inertia gives her a nice s turn. She actually took the wave out of her bag because it turns over so much.
