Does the Innova Katana = Discraft Nuke?

Maybe a dumb question but I'm still a newb. Are they the same or very similar?

I would say no. I've never thrown a Nuke, but I've thrown things with similar stability. For example, Discraft labels the Nuke as a 1.6, which is stable to slightly over stable in Discraft's numbering system. I have an Avenger which is a 1.8 and it flies nothing like my Katana, which is a -3 High Speed Stability (HSS).

Succinctly--I don't think so. Katana:understable :: Nuke:stable.

Depends on what Katana you buy. But for the most part the Nuke flys more like a faster Boss where a Katana flies like a faster Beast or Valk.

Long and short answer: Nuke is more stable

Stability from over to under in this order: Z Nuke - Star Katana - ESP Nuke - Champion Katana - Pro Katana.

Z Nuke has much higher low speed stability than all listed but the Star Katana is close to the same high speed stability, operative word is close when you compare it to the other chioces. From the ESP Nuke down, there is a world of difference in both high and low speed stability from the top two.

you guys are nuts. the z nukes are way more glidy and have a LOT more high speed turn. id say its more like:

star katana-champ katana-z nuke-esp nuke-pro katana

Star kayaks and z nuke are close buy would say nuke is mote stable.
Pro katana starts like sidewinder on steroids buy beats into monster d hyzer disk.

I'd suggest getting a Pro Katana for understable, a star katana for stable, and nuke for overstable and you have your drivers set.
