Crystal FLX LE vs Z LE

So i just bought a Crystal FLX Zone and am comparing it to my Z Zone.... I dont see any real difference other then clarity int he plastic. I thought FLX was suppose to be more grippy and flexible? Has anyone else noticed no difference between Crystal FLX and Z in the Limited Edition runs for zones?

No, you should see a noticeable difference between the two. Is your Z really soft or is your CrzFlx really firm?

i have about 8 z zones and they are all the same. so id guess the flx zones are just firm.... i mean maybe there is a hair more flex in the FLX but nothing too noticable. anyone have a crystal flx zone and a z zone to comapre also?>

Hmmmm, that's weird. My CrzFlx ones are much gummier and softer than my Zs. Though I was just given an older Z-Flx Wasp and it's way softer than any of the new (Crz-Flx) runs, so some variance does seem to be the norm.

Lars from LS Discs had some Crystal FLX Glow Zones at a tourney in my town. They were so grippy and gummy and great feeling. Never felt a stiff FLX anything personally. Sounds like you need to beat them in a bit!

Possible mis-stamp? Cryztal FLX should definitely be more gummy and flexible than Z.

~$20? Can't remember exactly. I'm sure if you emailed Lars he'd have some left... Had plenty IIRC.

Discraft will make any discs in ANY plastic combination if you order ~1,000 discs. So he asked them if they could make them, and they were like, "Yeah!" Which led to the question, "What have you been waiting for?!" :P

idk. im sitting here feeling both and they dont seem different. i got a blue one from GGGT. its a Cryztal FLX zone stamp. same flex as my 8 multiple color stack of z zones.

maybe some got mis stamped... ill have to get another to compare.

Just throw it some, and I think you'll see the difference... Go to a wooded course, and throw it on every hole you can! It'll be more flexible.
