Valkyrie 170-171 grams not sure on Star low dome or Champion low dome. Star Shark 175 grams as Shark is more Versatile then a Shark 3, the disc I use as more a true midrange. Titanic Proline 173-174 grams as my Jawbreaker Magnet gets too soft in hot weather. I think this is what I would use except for the fact I am missing a water disc.

I have done this before when I traveled to California by plane in 2016 but the Shark was Pro 175 grams as I had yet to get my first Star one, The Magnet was a 173-174 gram Jawbreaker though as the Pro D I was still using was a rare stiff pre 2006 model. I may have had my 167 Gram Champion Destroyer with me though making it 4 discs instead of 3, but I almost never used the Destroyer when I was playing the one time.

Driver, Pluto disc from the Instep set
Midrange, Wham-O Maxflight
Putter, The new Champion/Z plastic that Quest uses for its putters and get the new super floppy 10 Meter Brick, disc so floppy from online pictures that it looks to be as floppy as an Aerobie Dogobie.

I just thought of this in terms of comparing to what I would have said thirty years ago:

1989 me:
Discraft Eclipse
Innova Shark
Discraft Magnet (IRRC)

2019 me:
MVP Impulse
Vibram Ibex
Millenium Omega SS

The Impulse reminds me of the Eclipse, though faster and with less glide.
I fell in love with the Ibex because out of the box it flies like a seasoned Shark.
And I've been using the Omega SS since it came out on the market.

what I would have said 15 year ago in 2004, my second year

Driver Valkyrie 169-170 grams
Midrange DX Stingray 172-175 grams
Putter Rubber Putter 166 grams

Now 2019
Diver Valkyrie 170-171 grams not sure on Star low dome or Champion low dome.
Midrange Star Shark 175 grams as Shark.
Putter Titanic Proline 173-174 grams as my Jawbreaker Magnet gets too soft in hot weather.

I think this is what I would for 2019 use except for the fact I am missing a water disc.

Still like the Valkyrie but have switched from DX. I was thinking my Champipon 167 gram Destroyer but the mold is almost too much for me. For wind I can just use my Shark.

I like the Shark for more approach stuff as well as driving putter slot and windy day putter but it was chosen as a better wind fighting disc to the Stingray and both have a similar shape, Shark 3 is more for midrange but can use the more putter like glide Shark for midrange. I did say Impact at the time in 2017 but the mold that feels like a flat top Stingray is hard to find and not really a true midrange, it is still in the actual bag for a few shots.I have backups.

Magnet/Titanic is a more lid like flight disc, something I was looking for before trying to find a less glide version of a Rubber Putter that had the lid type glide, Aero had just as much glide as Rubber putter and the Dart was not out yet. I did say Magnet Jawbreaker in 2017 as those are what I used first before getting the Titanic this year 2019 for hot days as Jawbreaker plastic then gets sticky for me. So the Jawbreaker Magnet would not be in the 3 disc choice as the Proline Titanic was better suited for hot days.

I have picked this modern 2019 setup of 3 as my discs.
