While it's true that "transgender" is a modern term, and the number of individuals who identify as such has risen very sharply in the last few years, it is impossible to believe that there haven't been at least sporadic cases of (what is now known as) gender dysphoria all throughout human history.

I've heard of individuals born with both sex organs but I'd have to say that people born one gender that become another gender is a modern phenomenon due to advanced medical science.

To be clear, G&H should be free to do almost anything as a female. I don't believe she should be able to compete against non-trans females in an athletic event though.

go for it ginger! this is a blip, you're a freaking champion and the bad results will pass. I've been through some pretty dark $hit myself, so I can assure you as well as I can things will get better. Get on it, dammit!

I'm thinking there are other terms more appropriate.

Play some rounds by yourself and don’t think about anything other than playing the sport that you enjoy playing. You’ll get it back.

If you're in it for the competitive side, I agree...play open and go for it. Otherwise if you're just looking for the social experience, play local casual rounds. Start a local club for women, etc, etc.

I am playing FPO, The openest gender-protected division.
I have been a member of the PDGA Women's Committee since summer of '17.
I am hosting disc golf workshops for womxn.
I am helping raise female participation in my country, by helping those women already active overcome mental hurdles.

OK, so this isn't about fairness or competition or anything. this is about your personal feelings that transgender individuals are icky. gotcha
