Yep, I just stocked up on some extra Brinsters because of that deal.

And Brinsters are great. A little domey (which I actually like), beefy, but still more workable than something like a Firebird... And they still can hold up to any headwind. Great HSS, just rides straight through the wind.

Edit: post #1001 is even cooler than 1000, it's a palindrome.

Comparing my teebs to brinsters and aj shows them to be even. Maybe this is why I was becoming impatient trying to season them this season.

^ Flight patterns I will agree with. AJ's and Brinsters really bring the beef! Although Steve is one of my favorite pros, I gotta say the AJ's seem to have a better grip (especially in the rain/snow). Too bad those AJ 'birds I have are such awful colors - they're pretty hard to find sometimes!

also picked up a fresh PFN *T from air traffic. the plastic has some fingerprinty goodness to it; nice and flexible and grippy. i have a feeling this is going to be my new go-to for a while along with that champ above. in the meantime i can work on seasoning up my other star and champ teebirds. it's a 167g but i've started to realize i don't mind going that light with my discs, especially not for a teebird. on the other hand 166 just seems too far in my head. funny how that works.

at this point i'm just trying to sink enough cash into teebirds that i can't give up like i did last time, haha.

*T's are my personal favorite. Is yours on the flatter side?

Heh - I did the same. Never had a brinster bird but figured I'd like it. How much more stable than my GStar is that going to be?
