Local insight is always welcome and if anyone is available to throw and guide while we are there, that would be awesome! Especially for Harmon Hills.
It's not as close to the freeway, but the extra 30 min of your time is well worth it to play Hobbs Farm instead of Etowah.

I mean, I would play both, but if you only have time for 1 on the drive, Hobbs is better.

It was also closed last year but I was still able to make arrangements with Mando via Private Message on here to play the course.

It's worth a shot, but all the things he's posted indicates it's closed, probably for good (though it wouldn't be the first time), and I doubt he's done any maintenance this year.

Sorry to hear it. I am really happy that I played it when I had the chance.

Yeah, we played Hobbs last year on one of our GA trips with Tyus and Canopy Tours etc. Hobbs was my first 5.0 and one of my all-time favorites. We haven't played Etowah yet and it sounds pretty cool.

Well in that case, play Etowah. It is indeed pretty cool. I had a blast there even though I played through steady rain for the entire round.

Finalish plan:

Etowah (GA) and Morningside (TN) on the way up.

Oct 3. Sugar Hollow (VA) and Ashe County Park (NC)

Oct 4. Harmon Hills (TN)

Oct 5. Panther Creek and/or Morristown Kiwanis (TN)

Way Home. Heritage Point (GA)

As always local insight is welcome and if anyone wants to throw one with us or guide us that would be awesome!

You'll love Harmon. Anyone who doesn't, doesn't like disc golf. Sugar Hollow's a well rounded, interesting course... glad it was recommended to me.

Motown Kiwanis isn't spectacular, but definitely fun if you like short, technical runs. Haven't had the chance to play Panther Creek... sounds like real "take no prisoners" championship type of course.
