haha, I have an idea for how to do that. I just never built the machine.

If they want to sell those discs. They should have actually worked with Gregg and make it EXACTLY like the Eagle that he wanted to throw right away. Not one he'd have to field throw for months to get beat into the condition of some of the ones he has carried for a long time and we know by color or graphic alone that something amazing is about to happen. As I watched that video I saw someone sort of shrug his shoulders and talk about a disc that he wasn't terribly excited by.
Innova. Listen to your people.

Aren't Sexybirds in Champion plastic?

And to that point, it's hard to believe Barsby really would want Star over Champion plastic, and especially Swirly Star. Did Innova force that on him?

Except these are swirly star, domey, more overstable and slower. So really, not nearly as good as a sexton firebird.

Honestly I think he likes the disc but is scared to tell classic eagle throwers that they'll love it , because it's so different. He's been throwing it well in tournaments.

Exactly what Innova needs to do. The first run of Ricky Destroyer in late 2018 had the wing almost straight the way an old run of Wraith was in Champion and Star was in the 2000's and the disc was changed from 12x Worlds to 12x Worlds Champion on them. Also happened before this in the 2000's that but that was with the Pro model Wraith plastic.

I aksed him when I met him. He said that Star is all the players in Europe want so it sells more.

There are Euro players who have had champ tour series discs tho

I love eagles, but the star are usually glide less and overstable. Champs are usually too overstable for what I'd use them for. If they could give me premium plastic with the flight of a fresh dx eagle, it would be great.

Innova does seem to be missing the mark a lot lately (with regard to the timing of this ad)
Well Dave might be set in his ways on some of the discs, saying that is the way they are on those and let them go into production this way. I mean it is why one mold was forced due to Dave's love of it in his bag when it came out in Star was forced on the public even if a very good portion of the specific discs should have been a Factory second.

This is too bad.

I'm sure one of the reasons that Sexton Firebirds sell like hotcakes when they come out is because people watch Nate work wonders with that disc every time he plays a tournament. Conrad is doing the same with his Aviars, and Wysocki with his Pigs.

Those extra sales mean extra money for said pro. Barsby Eagles sold out maybe a couple times early on, but he could have made a lot more if there was the same synergy going on as with the aforementioned pros.
