I have 2 GStar and 1 Champion. I don't see the point of the Daedalus. To go far it has to be thrown really hard. When thrown really hard bad things can and do happen. I'd say 98.73% of throwers would be better served by a Tern or Wraith. As for big tailwinds, I bet a Teebird would go farther for most. I don't believe it is the easy distance it is marketed as.

I somewhat agree it isn't the easiest disc to throw. For being marketed as understable it takes a big rip to get maximum flex out of. Most people would be better suited with a Bolt or Nuke SS for flippy power.

I do like the Champ Daedalus though. Get enough on it and it'll go as far as any driver around. Just not for total noodle arms.

Well stated. I get a bee in my bonnet about the speed 13 and speed 14 discs being advertised as "easy distance", because at those speeds there ain't no such thing for the vast majority of players.

Several pro players I've talked to say they throw no faster disc than Speed 11 discs (hello, Wraith). The Tern is listed as Speed 12, but might be a bit aberrational in that it really is easier to throw for that 98.73%.

I got lucky. I didn't have to pay for mine.
It seems to goes as far as my other drivers.

I've been throwing the Gstar Daedalus a lot more now. It's more durable then champion when you hit pavement. The flex keeps it from getting gouged.

Try a G* Shryke. It'll make you forget about the Daedalus immediately. The Shryke is a much better all around driver than the Daedalus. Less finicky and better glide.

Agree, except I recommend the Pro Shryke instead of the GStar Shryke.

The Daedalus goes pretty much straight for me at full power. No turn unless there's wind. I don't need anything more flippy if that's what Shryke it is. My Beasts are my flip machines. It's a wild ride with those.

IMO the Shryke is less flippy than the Daedalus. It holds an S curve flight longer, has better glide, and has less low speed fade.

Side to side I'd probably get 30-40' more out of a Shryke than a Daedalus.

Shryke: 13, 6, -2, 2.
Daedalus: 13, 5, -3, 3.

Ok. I don't have a whole lot of power compared to you. Probably be a meat hook for me. I have a heavy Boss that's a meat hook. A relative gave it to me thinking he was doing good. Funny thing was he couldn't throw it either.
