The full size ones have around an hour of labor (30 mins turning, 30 finishing). I do some of the turning, though most of this art is done by my friend Clay: asthetweedyturns.com

The branch is wood burned.

These are all for sale - I'm willing to sell some of them at this time, though this collection is going down to bowling green with me, this is my flymart setup. I'm willing to work something out if you see something that strikes your fancy.

If they are plain I'd gladly pay 5-8 for one. Burn a really cool emblem on top and I'd go 10-15 in a heartbeat.

I sell metal ones at my local course from time to time for 3-5 plain and 10 hand painted(simple designs mostly).

Need a more consistent source of the metal discs though.

So a week ago I bid on a lathe at auction. What was pictured was a full working lathe on a bench, when I went to pick it up I got a box of lathe pieces. Luckily my wood turning buddy previously mentioned in this thread was coming over for a visit the next day, I told him to bring some of his old tools I could buy off him. It took us a full day of tinkering and googling to build a bench and put the lathe together. Now I have a working lathe of my own, and I haven't been able to stay away, I love making chips fly. I've been playing on it all week, making bowls and cool looking things. Today I finally cranked out the first mini on my own lathe out of some walnut that I've been hanging on to that I found while clearing the fairway of hole 5 golden eagle.

Interesting note to this thread. This mini that I had lost in big sky came back a couple months ago. I got a call from a dude, said he found my mini several years ago and just came across it again in a box that he had tossed it in and decided to look me up and return it!! Sweet, thanks dude!
